Got there just before lunch and suffered problem after problem, to the point I almost packed up. Fortunately the wind picked up and the carve and T3 just hit the spot. A reasonable number of gybe attempts and I even got round one, ok it wasn't planing but at least I did get round.

The 121 handles the chop that Rutland throws up so much better than the 131. I presume its the difference in width, 66.5cm compared with 72cm that makes the ride so much more controllable when the wind gets up. Even tacks seemed easier, perhaps all the filler in the 131 is weighing it down.

Plenty out on the water on every vintage of kit as well as some kids learning.
